In recent years, doing business in the Arctic has been growing more attractive to investors. The government offers subsidies, introduces tax preferences, and launches special economic zones for residents of the Russian Arctic.

Owing to the newly introduced regulations, the Russian Arctic is about to become the world’s largest preferential economic area. Apart from this, many Arctic regions have implemented additional preferences for businesses enjoying the status of Arctic residents.

Time to do business in the Arctic!

Garden of Memory is an international campaign aimed to honor those who fell while serving this country during WWII. PORA, Clean Arctic and Volunteers of Victory joined their efforts to restore war memorials and mass graves alongside Federal Route E105 (P21), remove illegal graffiti from the rocks and plant trees.
The Good Job Center was launched in cooperation with the Russian State Social University. The project's Telegram channel posts recent news of the Arctic job market, along with up-to-date job offers in the High North, and keeps track of the corporate and commercial legislation relevant to doing business in the Arctic.
The PORA Expert Center provides grants for projects aiming to contribute to the sustainable development of the Russian Arctic. Our grantees implement projects relating to the environment, arts and crafts, IT, health care, education, tourism and social entrepreneurship.
